Pip pip hooray!
This Christmas will be Kate Middleton's first as a married woman. Although the 29-year-old Duchess will spend the actual holiday with hubby Prince William, a source tells Us Weekly that the duo will spend the week following the holidays with Pippa and the Middleton family.
Pippa, 27, will join her big sister for Boxing Day (Dec. 26) in Sandringham, Norfolk. "It will be the first Christmas Catherine is away from her family, so having Pippa come on Boxing Day is just part of making [Kate] feel comfortable and for her to share some of the holiday with her own family," the insider tells Us. "It's something William wanted for Catherine."
But Pippa won't be the only Middleton spending time with Kate and William before the year's end. The source tells Us that Kate, William and Pippa "will all travel together back to Bucklebury and spend the remaining days of Christmas with the other Middleton family members."
The royal couple should enjoy this family time; in early 2012, William will be deployed to the Falkland Islands for six weeks. He'll join a crew of three other RAF personnel as part of his training and advancement as a Search and Rescue pilot.
