What a keeper!
Not only is Jionni LaValle, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's boyfriend of one year a total romantic, but the Jersey Shore star says her 23-year-old beau is also a sobering influence.
In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres airing Thursday, Polizzi, 24, confirms that she's curbed her hard-partying lifestyle now that she's in a longterm relationship.
"When I was 21, I didn't really care. I would go out like every single weekend and just go crazy," she told DeGeneres. "Now that I have a boyfriend and I'm in love and I'm 24, I only have a couple of glasses of wine once a week."
Really?! Yes, says Polizzi. "It's kind of like, I've matured. I still know how to throw down a couple of shots,[but] I prefer to take it easy," she said. "I drink like two Pinots once a week and I’m good."
Though Jersey Shore viewers saw Polizzi and LaValle at odds during season 4 in Florence, Italy, the duo's relationship couldn't be better — as long as they don't watch episodes of the MTV hit together.
"I try not to [watch the show together] because it just starts fights," she told Us Weekly in September.
"We're good," she continued. "I mean, obviously, with the show, it kind of sucks a little bit seeing all the drama that goes on. But we're holding it together."
