More big news for American Idol: Victoria Beckham has signed on to judge!
Her rep tells Usmagazine.com that the former Posh Spice, 35, "will be a guest judge on one episode" alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi. Beckham has previously served as guest judge of Project Runway.
On Thursday morning, Idol host Ryan Seacrest revealed on his KIIS-FM radio show that Beckham will be joining the judges for tomorrow's auditions in Denver.
The news comes after Paula Abdul announced late Tuesday that she is leaving the show after eight seasons.
"With sadness in my heart, I've decided not to return," the 47-year-old Twittered.
Abdul – who was believed to have earned about $2 million in salary last season – reportedly wanted a $20 million deal to stay on the show. She walked when she was only offered a 30 percent raise, according to reports.
