Will and Kate: Coming to a Canadian province (and one U.S. state) near you!
Prince William and Duchess Kate began their royal tour of North America on Thursday afternoon, arriving at the airport in Ottawa, Ontario. What will the royal newlyweds do on their very first official overseas trip (and Kate's very first visit, period, to North American shores)? A whole lot!
Us Weekly gives an overview of William and Kate's jam-packed schedule.
June 30: In their very first official function, the Duke and Duchess, both 29, will lay a wreath at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Ottawa's National War Memorial. Next, they meet with Prime Minister Stephen Harper and receive full military honors — including a 21-gun salute! Afterwards, they'll nosh at a youth barbecue and reception in the garden of the Government House.

July 1: Canada Day! The royals will witness a citizenship ceremony and head to Parliament Hill for celebrations, where William will briefly address the crowd.
July 2: Goodbye, Ottawa! After a tree planting and a reception for war vets and war brides, the duo leaves for Montreal. Once in the French-Canadian city, they'll visit young cancer patients at Saint-Justine Hospital. Next, at the Institut de Tourisme et Hotellerie due Quebec, they'll get their hands dirty with a class of student chefs. After a private dinner, William and Kate will check out a fireworks contest on the harbor — and board the HMCS Montreal for an overnight boat trip to Quebec City.
July 3: Honoring Canada's bravest. They'll meet with the Royal 22nd Regiment, who've just returned from Afghanistan and head to the Citadel. Next, after a short rest, they'll leave via plane for Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island.
July 4: Prince and Princess on Prince Edward Island! After a local tour with Premier Robert Ghiv and a brief break, they'll hit an outdoor bash featuring BBQ, music — and a dragon boat race! Next, the Duke and Duchess board a helicopter for a visit to Summerside to check out a search-and-rescue demonstration and a dinner with local fisherman. And it's off to the Northwest Territory!
July 5: In Yellowknife in the Northwest Territory, the Kate and William will meet with aboriginal leaders for prayer and drum songs, athletic events and a walkabout. They'll hop on a sea plane to Blatchford Lodge for a meeting with Canadian Rangers.
July 6: Private time for the newlyweds! The duo leave for Calgary and will have a day to themselves at an undisclosed locale.
July 7: Almost done with Canada! The twosome check out a hospital and will be toasted — with a gift from the government of Canada — at a special reception.
July 8: Royal rodeo! They'll take in the launch of the Calgary Stampede and watch a parade and head to the Calgary Zoo. Next…hello, California, U.S.A! Landing in L.A., they'll be greeted by up and coming entrepreneurs at a reception in Beverly HIlls. That night, they'll gab with politicians and other high-profile figures at the Consular General's resident in Los Angeles.
July 9: More horsin' around! The pair travel to Santa Barbara for a polo match, where the Prince will play and Kate will give out prizes. (The game will benefit American Friends of the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry.) That night, the real fun begins: The royals will walk the red carpet with British TV, movie and theater stars for a BAFTA reception at the Belasco Theatre. (Celeb attendees for the bash have not yet been announced.)
July 10: Doing more good. The pair will visit Inner City Arts, an L.A. program which helps disadvantaged and homeless children through art. That night, they'll attend a war veterans event at Sony Studios; called "Nation: Mission Serve," the event serves to strengthen ties between UK and US armed forces. That night, it's back home to London.
