Mega music festival Lollapalooza kicks off Friday in Grant Park, Chicago, IL and with headliners like Eminem, Coldplay, Deadmau5, and the Foo Fighters, it's guaranteed to be a celeb hot spot. To make sure you look stylish at the show, Us Weekly asked celebrity stylist Sam Saboura to dish some insider concert fashion tips.
Cover up in the sun. Opt for modern-looking eyewear like oversized round frames or a great pair of classic Ray Ban Wayfarers. "It's all about '70s-inspired floppy hats right now, and my clients are wearing them with everything" says Saboura. "Look for straw or felt, which are great to shield the sun out and keep you on-trend and cool."
Find the right tote. A fringe hobo bag in an eye-popping color is everything right now — wear it across your chest to complete your boho look a la Ashley Greene.
Opt for breezy apparel. "It's late in the summer and the heat will be on in Chicago, so lightweight tanks and drape-y off-the-shoulder tees are your best bet." says Saboura. He recommends paring one with short denim cut-offs, a skinny leather belt, and flat T-front sandals.
Stay hydrated. Although not apparel-related, this is a no-brainer. Skip the pricey bottles of water and instead, drink up on free H2O from the CamelBak filling stations available throughout the park. "It's always stylish and chic to be green, so make sure you bring along a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated," Saboura says.
