Nothing is impossible for Naomi Watts when it comes to motherhood. The actress, who is nominated for a Best Actress award at the 2013 Oscars for her role in The Impossible, is currently juggling award season with raising two young boys. Though she admits it's a tough job, Watts, 44, says the pros outweigh the cons.
"It's pretty exhausting," she told reporters at The Hollywood Reporter Nominees Reception at Spago Restaurant in Beverly Hills on Monday, Feb. 4. "It's so great, it's the best thing. Most high rewards you can have in anything," she added, "but it's definitely exhausting being a mom."
Watts is mom to sons Alexander, 6, and Samuel, 5, with her longtime partner Liev Schreiber, 45. And despite her exhaustion, Watts tries to be as hands-on as she can raising her sons.
"I do my own laundry, but I sometimes have help," she admitted. "I cook. I definitely don't have a chef," she added. But the British-Australian star admitted that she also gets help in that department if she doesn't "make it home in time."
When asked how she prepares for the "deafening silence" that follows the commotion of the Oscars. The busy mom laughed and said, "I'm looking forward to the deafening!"
