Miley Cyrus is officially out of her teens.
Celebrating her 20th birthday on Friday, Nov. 23, the engaged singer-actress feted her latest milestone with a raucous bash with pals.
"So much BIRFFFDAY love! I wish everyday was like this," Cyrus tweeted on her big day, along with a photo of the star — who recently chopped her pixie locks even shorter — posing beneath giant balloons in the shape of numbers '2' and '0.' Later, Cyrus revealed how she ushered in her 20s — with a big bash. "Great night last night. Thanks to everyone who celebrated with me. And yes, I did get a big booty hoe 4 my birfday," Cyrus said, cribbing a rap lyric from "Birthday Song" by 2 Chainz and Kanye West.
In lieu of gifts, Liam Hemsworth's fiancee encouraged fans to support two of the causes closest to her: The Starkey Hearing Foundation and Saving SPOT! Rescue, an organization dedicated to rescuing animals. "Thank you to all my fans who donated to @starkeyhearing @spotrescuedogs for my birthday. Y'all topped it again — best bday present by far!" Cyrus — who was gifted with a rescued pig named Nora by PETA — tweeted.
As she enters her 20s, Cyrus' next year will no doubt be a busy one. She's in the midst of recording a new album — and planning a wedding! Accepting Hunger Games star Hemsworth's proposal in June, Cyrus has said she's eager to enjoy a long engagement.
"I want to . . . get my record out, so when there is a time that I can take some time off, I'll feel like I accomplished my stuff," the LOL actress recently told The Associated Press. "Then I can take a break and just enjoy being married for a little while."
