On a scale of one to ten, Kristen Bell is very, very pregnant.
"I'm about 400 pounds-months pregnant," she joked to Jay Leno on The Tonight Show Friday, Jan. 11.
The 32-year-old actress, who announced her pregnancy last November, looked positively radiant in a navy-and-black Hatch dress and Jimmy Choo heels and smiled with delight when Leno complimented her on her growing baby bump.
"Let's hear it for the glow!" Bell grinned as the audience clapped and cheered.
The House of Lies star was later joined onstage by Ben Affleck, himself a father of three with wife Jennifer Garner.
Talk naturally turned to kids, and Bell joked that babies are actually covered in fur during the early stages of pregnancy.
"[My child] could be any number of animals, if I'm being honest," she laughed.
"That's the kind of thing they don't tell you before you get pregnant, otherwise you never would," Affleck agreed.
This is Bell's first child with fiance Dax Shepard, 37. The pair know the baby's gender, but are opting to keep it a surprise, Bell said.
In the meantime, the actress explained that she's simply enjoying the pregnancy's positive effects on her body — and mind.
"The funny thing is, [pregnancy brain] is genetically in your body so you don't have like a killer wit and abuse the kid," she said. "You kind of soak up all these wonderful hormones and you're just really nice and dumb the whole time."
