The secret 12th celeb on season 16 of Dancing with Stars has finally been revealed, and it's someone near and dear to ABC viewers: Bachelor Sean Lowe! The sexy 29-year-old Texas entrepreneur confirmed the news on Good Morning America on Tuesday March 12, the morning after the much-anticipated season finale of The Bachelor, where Lowe selected Catherine Giudici as his bride-to-be.
"I am so tired of keeping secrets, but now they're all out," joked Lowe, who kept both his final rose pick and his DWTS gig under wraps for months. His partner for DWTS with be pro dancer Peta Murgatroyd, who nabbed the mirror ball last season with Donald Driver.
His DWTS stint will come in handy for Lowe's wedding to 26-year-old Seattle graphic designer Giudici, he added. "When we have our big day, hopefully I'll make her proud . . . I won't make a fool of myself on my dance floor." Lowe joins the ranks of other Bachelor alumni who've competed on DWTS: Jake Pavelka was a season 10 contender, while Melissa Rycroft was the victor for last year's All-Star competition.
With Kellie Pickler, Lisa Vanderpump, Andy Dick and other celebs competing, Dancing with the Stars kicks off Monday March 18 at 8 p.m. EST.
