Jessica Alba rang in her 32nd year the best way she knew how — in the company of close family and friends for a night out on the town, followed by a relaxing spa day at home on Sunday, Apr. 28.
The Honest Company entrepreneur, who turned 32 on Sunday, kicked off her weekend with some grown-up hijinks in West Hollywood the night before, leaving her two kids — daughters Honor, 5, and Haven, 2 — at home. Alba and husband Cash Warren, 34, were joined by a star-studded guest list of pals at John Terzian’s L.A. hotspot Bootsy Bellows, including stylist Rachel Zoe, Gwen Stefani, Minka Kelly and Kelly’s boyfriend Chris Evans.
“[They] rented out the back VIP room,” a source tells Us Weekly of the evening festivities. “Yes, there was a cake. Jessica blew out the candles. Cash and Jessica got on the microphone and thanked everyone for coming, [and] Cash gushed about his love for Jessica. They kissed and toasted their friends.” The excited group also enjoyed sweet treats from Crumbs.
“Last night was the best time EVER! I love all my friends so much!” she tweeted the next day. “Thnk u 4 making me feel so special – and the love of my life @cash_warren ur my everything!” The actress posted an adorable snapshot of the couple smooching in the club.
And the feelings were definitely mutual. Warren showed his own appreciation for his wife of nearly five years on his own Instagram account.
“I could search for a lifetime and never find a best friend like you,” he captioned a snapshot of the two of them together. “Happy Birthday my lovely wife.”
But the celebration didn’t end there! Alba revealed in a tweet later on in the day that her pals kept the birthday weekend going with a “surprise brunch and spa day at home.”
