No drama here! Rihanna joined her ex flame Drake at New York City hotspot Griffin on Monday, Aug. 18. The couple, who have dated on and off since 2010, "seemed happy to see one another," an insider exclusively tells Us Weekly.
Drake, who was joined by his crew and in town for his Drake Vs. Lil Wayne tour, kicked the night off with a surprise performance of his new song "Tuesday."
"He was hyping up the crowd," the source tells Us. "At one point, he held the mic out for a call back then said, 'Oh wait, none of you know this song yet. Don't worry. You will soon enough.'"
Rihanna, who was dressed in a hot pink dress with matching lipstick, arrived at the hotspot shortly after the rapper. "They were talking since their tables were next to each other," the insider adds. "They seemed happy to see one another."
So are the "Diamonds" songstress and Canadian rapper back together?
"He and Rihanna still talk," the source tells Us. "I don't see it as impossible that they wouldn't hook up again, but it's not happening now, but they're still friendly."
RiRi and Drake were also joined by DJ Spade as well as Fat Joe and club owner Chris Reda.
A rep for the club had no comment.
