Couldn’t hurt! The Los Angeles Times committed a major faux pas on Monday, Aug. 25, when it accidentally mislabeled a photo of Orange Is the New Black’s Danielle Brooks, calling her Parks and Recreation’s Retta.
The two actresses quickly noticed the error, posting about it on Twitter.
“@unfoRETTAble @latimes Oohh child! I guess all chocolate girls look alike. We all look a lot,” Brooks, 24, who plays Taystee on the popular Netflix show, tweeted.

Though the paper fixed its online mistake, Brooks was still offended by the error, tweeting, “I love my girl @unfoRETTAble but we both work too hard for hollywood to just mix us up.“
It seems the L.A. Times agreed with her statement, and on Wednesday, Aug. 27, a representative from the paper sent Brooks a bouquet of flowers with an apology note.
“Righting your wrongs is never a bad thing. Thank you NY times for the flowers, oops I mean @latimes,” the Netflix star jokingly tweeted along with a picture of the present.
