Think baby showers are supposed to be quiet and demure? Not this one. At the bash to celebrate JoAnna Garcia‘s first pregnancy (the future father is Cleveland Indians’ Nick Swisher, 32), the vibe was more party than proper.
Revelers, including Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Lance Bass, Jennifer Morrison, and Reba McEntire (with whom 33-year-old Garcia starred on The CW’s Reba for six years), joyfully toasted to the expectant couple at Fig & Olive, a modern French Riviera-inspired restaurant in West Hollywood. Sigler posted an Instagram shot of herself with Bass at the shower with the caption, “Getting some love from my bestie.”
The lunchtime party took over the restaurant’s second floor, which was decorated with large pink balloons. “Everyone in the group seemed to be in the best mood…. They were getting rowdy upstairs! This was definitely a full-fledged party. I was like, this is a PARTY party! They were in full swing still three hours into it!” an observer tells Us Weekly.
Close friend Cameron Diaz was also in attendance to celebrate the Animal Practice star. “Cameron looked great! She was in jeans, a white shirt and gray blazer,” says another source.
As for the most important woman at the party? “JoAnna was wearing a white dress with black stripes and high heels. She looked amazing! Positively glowed,” a third source tells Us.
Guests left with full bellies (after noshing on such delicious fare as truffle mushroom croquettes, fig and olive salads, lamb skewers, and paella) and favor bags filled with beauty products and Tory Burch sunglasses.
