There's a new little girl next door in the world — Holly Madison's baby daughter! The former Playboy model, 33, welcomed her first child with boyfriend Pasquale Rotella on Tuesday, March 5, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
The baby girl was born at 11:59 a.m. She weighed in at 7 pounds, 2 ounces.
Us Weekly first broke the news of Madison's pregnancy in August 2012. Ever since, the Girls Next Door alum has been busy preparing for the arrival of her little bundle of joy. Last month, she gave fans a sneak peek of her daughter's nursery, which features an Alice in Wonderland theme and has large, colorful flowers — hand-painted by Madison herself! — all over the walls.
Shortly before she went into the labor, the star also revealed that she plans to follow in January Jones' footsteps and have her placenta turned into pills. "I heard it helps women recover faster and I want to recover as quickly as I can!" she explained on her blog.
As for Madison's long-term future with her new family, she and Rotella are still deciding what kind of parents they want to be. "I don't want to be too strict, because I think kids can get rebellious," she told Us in January, "but I want to raise my daughter to be passionate about doing good things and pursuing real things and hobbies instead of frivolous materialistic stuff."
The new mom has been with Electric Daisy Carnival founder Rotella, 38, for more than a year. Prior to giving birth, she gushed to Us that her boyfriend talked to their baby-to-be all the time. "We have conversations with [her], and I pretend I'm here and converse back with [Pasquale]," Madison admitted. "We're all wackos. Hopefully she hears us and feels good."
