Veronica Mars may be on track to fight crime once more — with your help! Kristen Bell, who stepped out with an impressive baby bump in West Hollywood on Monday, March 11, recently told Entertainment Weekly that a Veronica Mars movie could be in the works if fans help pitch in.

Bell, 32, and show creator Rob Thomas explained that the cast and crew are eager to reunite for a much-anticipated feature-length film, but funding the traditional route won't be enough. Consequently, they're turning to Kickstarter to help raise $2 million in 30 days to fund a low-budget Mars movie, to be shot this summer.

"I have never fallen so deeply in love with a character," Bell told EW of her desire to reprise her modern-day Nancy Drew role.  The show also starred  Percy Daggs III, Jason Dohring and Enrico Colantoni. "We all became so close, and the cancellation of the show left a huge hole in my heart. I would have put on Veronica Mars: The Circus to bring it back."

At present, however, Bell has another role to prepare for: Mommyhood!

The first-time mother-to-be (with fiance Dax Shepard, 38) is definitely feeling the effects of her pregnancy, and she's doing everything she can to create a good environment for her tiny bundle of joy.

"I have been hyper-aware of everything … not only just in food," she previously told E! News. "I'm not strict, but I'm just very aware of what I'm putting in my body because it's affecting someone else. And that's kind of my responsibility. So, I'm working hard in that department."
