It's a boy! English singer Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field announced on Monday, Oct. 27, that they welcomed their second child — hours after entertaining fans with a series of videos leading up to their son's birth.
The "Angel" singer took it upon himself to live tweet every moment prior to the arrival of his second child, even posting a video of his wife in labor as he sings Frozen's hit song "Let It Go."
As seen in one video, the couple kept themselves entertained with a dance party in their hospital room. In the funny clip captioned 'Nurse, she's out of her bed again," a very pregnant Ayda dances to Iggy Azalea's hit song "Fancy" while her husband looks on.
In another video, captioned "Robbie decides to help Ayda relax as they await the arrival of baby number two," the singer dances goofily to "Candy" while his wife lies in the hospital bed looking annoyed. The couple then killed time by making fun of Williams in a clip where Ayda is seen comforting him while he walks down the hospital hallway with an IV.
After posting a video of the doctor breaking his wife's water (we're leaving that one out!), Williams continued to tweet out photos of his wife sleeping. Finally, around 2:30 p.m., he shared a video of his wife in labor where she yells at him: "Babe, can you stop singing Frozen!"
Following their son's birth, they shared: "We've been up way over 24 hours now. I've never been more in love and more proud of my wife…we have a baby boy…he's eight pounds and two ounces…and the universe just presented itself to us again and it's been an amazing few hours and we're really happy and honored you experienced the journey with us."
This is the second child for the couple, who are already parents to daughter Theodora.
