Dina Lohan ‘Proud Of’ Lindsay; Lawyer Says ‘No Truth’ to Rehab Center Report

Everyone's buzzing about Lindsay Lohan's comedic performance on "Late Show With David Letterman" Tuesday night, and one person who was particularly proud is her dear mom, Dina. As for a report that Lindsay's rehab facility has been decided upon, her attorney says there's "no truth" to that decision.

Lohan gave her first interview since November to Letterman and she didn't miss a beat, laughing at her own travails and even shedding a few tears at one point. When asked about going to rehab, the starlet replied, "To be honest, I'm the happiest when I'm working and the healthiest and I think this is an opportunity for me to focus on what I love in life, and I don't think it's a bad thing … I think it's a blessing, and not a curse."

"omg! Insider's" Christina McLarty spoke with Dina on Wednesday and asked if Letterman was too tough on Lindsay. "David threw her every curve ball and she hit them out of the park. So proud of her!" Dina responded.

McLarty also asked if Dina could confirm whether or not Lindsay would be in L.A. for the "Scary Movie 5" premiere, and if Dina will be coming with her. Dina said that Lindsay would be present and that, "Lindsay wants me to, but I have work here. I'm still contemplating it … she's doing red carpet with Charlie…."

On Wednesday, TMZ reported that Lohan's team  settled with law enforcement officials on a rehab facility — the Seafield Center in Westhampton Beach, New York — for her to begin her court-mandated 90-day rehab sentence.

omg! spoke with Lohan's attorney, Mark Heller, who says there is "no truth" to that report.

"It's not an accurate story. It's incorrect that she's going to that facility," Heller said.

Heller added the following: "There seems to be a much bigger story. That article reveals their source as being law enforcement. What they were not mindful of in my facilitating evaluation of a number of facilities, is that there was a leak in information discussed in a private e-mail with [L.A. Prosecutors] Terry White and Spencer Hart — which was labeled as personal and confidential.

Remarkably, that communication has been breached. This implies that someone — and I'm not saying by any means that it was White or Hart — would have been violating private communication.

I think what's happened is that the California court system has been inundated with tremendous leaks of confidentiality. This was the icing of the cake. I think that now there will be a nationwide investigation about the sources of these leaks. I think the leaders in the court system have finally had enough now and they're likely going to call for an investigation.

Think of the impact of all of the patients on such facilities. Imagine being in a rehab facility on a confidential nature and having 100 paparazzi showing up. Privacy is one of the most privileged rights of an American citizen, and these leaks must stop."

Heller concluded that, "No determination and no final decision making has been made," regarding Lohan's rehab facility.

Later Wednesday morning, TMZ responded to Heller's claims on their site, updating their article with, "Lindsay's attorney Mark Heller is telling various tabloids that no decision has been made on which rehab facility Lindsay will enter. Sources connected to the situation tell TMZ … Heller is not telling the truth. A decision HAS been made, and Lindsay's going to Seafield."

Who do you believe? TMZ or Lohan's lawyer?
