They grow up so quickly! Justin Bieber may be raising more than a few eyebrows with the considerably more grown-up photo he posted to his Instagram feed on Tuesday, April 16. In the photo in question, the 19-year-old teen pop star — in cartoon form — is shirtless and reclining on what appears to be a bed with a girl (who also appears to be topless in the snap).

And just to make sure there’s no mistaking the identities of the two cartoon characters, text reading “Justin” and “Belieber” label the two figures.

Just one day earlier, the “Beauty and a Beat” singer similarly shed his shirt in two photos of himself presumably working out at the gym, flaunting his toned abs and noticeably more mature look.

“Uh oh @justinbieber is losing it taking shirtless pics in the mirror,” he captioned the snap, which also showed off his myriad of tattoos. The singer’s self-indulgent snaps come in the wake of some international controversy surrounding the social media-savvy pop star.

On Friday, April 12, Bieber made a stop by the Anne Frank House museum in Amsterdam during his European tour, and left a particularly controversial message in the museum’s guest book.

“Truly inspiring to be able to come here,” he wrote. “Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.”

Critics quickly attacked the singer for being insensitive about a historic figure, but sources close to the Biebs told Us Weekly that the singer did not mean any harm by his comments.

“He wasn’t trying to be offensive at all,” the source told Us. “He was really moved by the experience and had always wanted to visit. He found it incredibly moving.”

Bieber has yet to personally speak out about the incident or the consequent backlash he received over the weekend.
