Eight years after wrapping her run on the hit teen drama Dawson's Creek, Katie Holmes says she wouldn't mind getting back together with her cast mates for a reunion of the 1998-2003 hit.

"It would be fun," Holmes — who played girl next door Joey Potter on the WB drama — tells Good Morning America's Robin Roberts. "I had so much fun working on that show and I loved everyone so much and I think about it with such fond memories."

Taking on the role when she was 20, Holmes, now 32, calls her costars — James van der Beek, Michelle Williams and Joshua Jackson — "a great group of people."

And Holmes, who currently stars alongside Adam Sandler in Jack and Jill, isn't the only Creek alum down to return. Williams — who played Jen Lindley — has long said she'd be back should a reunion take place.

"My God, it was a blessing in so many ways and continues to be," Williams, now 31, has said of Kevin Williamson's series, which was shot in Wilmington, N.C., and transformed Williams and her fellow unknown costars into bonafide TV stars.

"It lifted me out of Los Angeles and placed me until I was 22 in a sleepy Southern town," Williams continued. "It was the best acting class, learning to hit your mark, absorb your lines. I feel indebted to it, and if there was ever a reunion show, sign me up."
