On Monday afternoon, just hours after he and his wife of six years Heidi Klum announced they were separating, Seal stepped out of the house wearing his wedding band.
Dressed in a grey suit and a white collared shirt, the solemn-looking singer, 48, paid a visit to a Los Angeles recording studio.
In the wee hours of Monday morning, the "Kiss from a Rose" crooner and Klum, 38, released a joint statement that confirmed their split.
"While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children's sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy."
The couple have three biological children, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2, plus Klum's 7-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, Leni, whom Seal adopted in 2009.
After TMZ reported that Klum was planning on filing for divorce while citing "irreconcilable differences," a friend of the couple revealed to Us Weekly, "They've had a very rough road lately. They're either madly in love or having crazy fights."
